Kia-ora whanau...oh yeah i went on camp...so thats cool any way ill tell you about it...
So last week the senior part of my school went on a camp for 4 days and we went to whangarei top 10 holiday camp sights in the beginning of whangarei and most of the time we were at camp pretty much none of the time. And on the first day we went to flipout where it was really fun apart from bailing and pretty much breaking my back from a big platform onto a big pink and blue tramp where it was to bouncy for 12 year old well for me atleast....any way also we went on a hike which i did not like personally because it is boring walking in a bunch of trees on a gravel path. And after that we went to slleep in our tents and my tent could not stop laughing and because of that we were not alous to go to adventure forest where on the next day there was no adventure forest anyway because it was way to windy and a big branche fell down onto a car and a tree had snapped anyway so...we had to go to the pools and my tent had to wait for 30 minutes of waiting and looking at kids enjoy themselves...i know Creepy but then when our time was ovef we got to go swimming and we went down a waterslide and a pitch black around the 4\10 scary level and it was really fast and at the pools there was a wave pool(wich was a dissopointment) and then we came home and had showers and we went to bowling which was kinda fun and then we came back to camp and slept and in the morning we had to get ready for poor knights and it was really fun snorkelling through caves...i think thats the name for them ehh who cares any way there were thousands of fish in the cave and there was a platform in the water where you could not stand up and stand still and...just stand and on the end of the boat there was a platform where you could pop Manu´ś and there was a stingray apparently im glad i wasnt there to see it phew any who after that it was late and we were all sleepy and slept on the boat wich was 45 minutes of hell apart from the soup and milo on the boat and i can not remember what we did the next day anyway thanks for reading bye

RWC task
Rugby world cup task.
In my class we had to do a task on the rugby world cup where you had to make a list on what you think on mixed rugby teams and personally i dont know anything about rugby so i cant say much but i already dont think mixed teams is a good idea because they would have to stratagise more and they would not work together well because they would,ve had previous conflict and the games would take way longer and ont he plus side there would be diffrent stratagies and would be more entertaining and also and another bad thing is there would be equalised chances of winning when theres africa and ab,s vs ab,s and africa wich would kindof suck .i dont know very much so its kind of a dumb slide but Who cares chur fr reading anyway (=

my maori hero (willie apiata)
My Maori biography on Willie Apiata
Not so long ago in te kahu class there was a task where you had to make a biography on a Maori hero of your choice. My Maori hero was Willie Apiata because he was one of 165 holders of the caritas cross here is the biography i wrote on that week.Willie Apiata was born in 1976 to parents who were maori and pakeha. His parents had separated when Willie was 2, his childhood spent at Waima in Northland. When he was a teen he moved to Te kaha and attended te-Whanau-a-apunia-area school. He left school when he was 15.
When willie was 17 he enrolled in the nz army on the 6th of october, territorial force hauraki regiment of the Royal nz infantry regiment and unsuccessfully joined the Special air services in 1996. Willie fought for the Army, and on return from war, he had successfully attempted for sas.
In Afghanistan 20 fighter planes had attacked Apiata's camp and were attacking with rocket propelled grenades. One had blown Apiata of the hood of his truck where he had been sleeping. 2 other men had been injured by shrapnel. Corporal D is one of those men. When apiata woke up from being knocked out, he carried the corporal to safety. Soon after Apiata joined the fight and barely got out alive, and from that willie had been one of the few holders of the Victoria cross and to this day he is still alive to tell the tail.
